Scope and content

The bulk of the unit consists of Lohnabschlagsauszahlungslisten (wage deduction payment lists) with details of (forced) labourers employed for the months January to April 1943, numerous payment orders from the GBI (payments refer in the first part of the unit to the accounting year 1942 and only later to the accounting year 1943), as well as daily wage slips and payment lists of various firms, including Röling and Co. (Doc ID 71191985) and the construction company Becker und Heuer (Doc ID 71191985).

Furthermore can be found:
I) Evidence of special allowances and travel expenses to be reimbursed by various construction companies.
II) Various documents of the public treasury - accounting department III, including accounting slips regarding income and depository deposits.
III) Lists of receipts (e.g. from the Grunewald office), receipts and powers of attorney regarding paid wages.
IV) Driving certificate of Richard Wählisch Transporte for the company Horst Wessel, 01/28/1943 (Doc ID 71192089).
V) So-called Kassenausgangsbelege (cash receipts) of the "Gemeinschaftslager 7".
VI) Leave certificate for Italian workers travelling to Italy (form, filled in by the German Labour Front, DAF, among others) (Doc ID 71192276)

On the back of the document with the Doc ID 71192044 there is an undated letter of the GBI regarding the "eviction and re-letting of currently still inhabited Jewish apartments to demolition tenants".
