Wave 15 – „Transports of the Elderly“ 4-8 to Theresienstadt, 06/09/1942 – 06/19/1942

Scope and content

Contains:

I) Correspondence of the Stapoleitstelle Berlin with the Chief Finance President Berlin concerning the confiscation of assets of deported Jews.
II) Transport lists for the so-called Transports of the elderly 4-8 (I/4 - I/9) of a total of 325 persons to Theresienstadt, 06/09/1942 – 06/19/1942.

The 4th transport was divided into two partial transports (06/09 and 06/11/1942) from Berlin. This double occupancy of number 4 in the counting resulted in a discrepancy between the Berlin census and the census in Theresienstadt. The deportation train, which left Berlin on 06/11/1942, received the number I/5 in Theresienstadt.
