Files of the Stapostelle Potsdam: Permits, prohibitions, correspondence and lists concerning residence, emigration, assets and deportation of Jews of the province of Brandenburg, 1937-1943.
The files contain correspondence with various authorities, including tax offices, the security service of the Reichsführer SS and the NSDAP (Gauleitung Mark Brandeburg).
Residence permits for foreign or stateless Jews usually contain passport photos of the persons concerned.
The files also include:

- Directory of the Gestapo Frankfurt/Oder with information on Jewish traders at markets, 1938/03/09 (Doc ID 11208466).
The last document of this subunit is a letter from the District Administrator of the Oberhavelland district (written in Nauen on March 15, 1940) to the local police authority regarding the ordered arrest of the locksmith Walter Gruhn, who is said to have been "homosexually active" in Berlin (Doc ID 11208520).
