I) Undated list of the names of Jews living in Worms who were transported from Worms to Darmstadt on 23 September 1943 and from there deported to Theresienstadt on 27 September 1943. The registry includes the following information: Name, date and place of birth, marital status, profession, home address, as well as further remarks on, among other things, family members.
II) Accompanying letter in this regard from the Worms police headquarters to the ITS, 11 May 1960.
The contained list refers only to Worms. With the so-called Transport XVII/1, the first deportation from Darmstadt, 1288 Jews were deported from 76 places. Among them 12 from Alzey, 79 from Bad Nauheim, 68 from Bingen, 177 from Darmstadt, 21 from Friedberg, 54 from Gießen, 462 from Mainz, 98 from Offenbach, 13 from Seligenstadt and 92 from Worms.
