Contains:
I) Alphabetical list of 160 Jewish patients who were deported from the sanatorium and nursing home in Wunstorf on 27 September 1940. The lists contain information on 88 Jewish men and 72 Jewish women, who were collected from various so-called sanatoria, initially for a few days at the sanatorium in Wunstorf and deported from there on 09/27/1940.
In view of the research on euthanasia, the T4 subdivision GeKraT together with the Deutsche Reichsbahn deported the victims to the T4 killing centre Brandenburg/Havel for murder. The following information can be found:
- First name and surname
- Date and place of birth
- Previous nursing home
II) Accompanying letter of the Lower Saxony State Hospital to the Jewish Community of Hanover, 07/28/1958; accompanying letter of the Jewish Community of Hanover to the ITS, 05/19/1959. The letter of the Lower Saxony State Hospital to the Jewish Community of Hanover states that the deportation was carried out by the "Gemeinnützige Krankentransport GmbH, Berlin W 9". The reference in the correspondence that the train was sent to the Generalgouvernement no longer corresponds to the state of research in 2020.
