Scope and content

The main part of the unit consists of correspondence on the transfer of skilled workers to various concentration camps and subcamps. All in all, it is about the more effective use of prisoners: If qualified skilled workers in the camp were not exploited in their learned profession, they should be transferred to more suitable camp. Apart from a few exceptions, neither the numbers nor the names of the prisoners concerned are mentioned. The gender of the forced laborers is never mentioned.
In addition, there are documents on reports of skilled workers.

The smallest unit, 1930001, contains all documents that differ in content. These include, among other things, correspondence on the use of Soviet prisoners of war; an "elaboration for the guarantee of a safe transport of prisoners"; correspondence on "releases" to the Wehrmacht / SS-Regiment Dirlewanger; letters from subcamps (hanging of a prisoner / bonus for executions).
