Contains:Directories on the deportation of Jews (from Kassel) via Halle to Majdanek and Sobibor, 1942/06/01.On June 1, 1942, the deportation train left Kassel with 508 people (cf. sub-collection 1.2.1.1, VCC.155.XV, Ref. Code: 8230201). Among the deportees were 9 people from Schmalkalden (Thuringia) who had been transported to Kassel the day before (cf. Ref. Code 754200105). The route of the paddock train passed through Halle, among other places. This subunit contains only the lists of those affected from Halle and the surrounding area.I) Handwritten note regarding the number of Jews in Halle, 1942/08/24.II) Index with information on the names, dates of birth, marital status, citizenship and last address of the Jews deported from Halle on 1 June 1942 (11p.). Among those affected who were collected in Halle were Jews from Bitterfeld, Delitzsch, Eisleben, Klostermannsfeld, Naumburg, Weißenfels, and Querfurt.III) List of the "Members of the Halle Administrative Office, the Saxony-Thuringia District Office, the Reich Association of Jews in Germany" deported on 30 May 1942, with accompanying letter from the Jewish Cultural Association of Halle, 1942/06/11.The lists are dated 30 and 31 May 1942, respectively, which may be due to the fact that the persons concerned were recorded on the days before the deportation.
