Scope and content

This vast sub-group contains various collections of individual documents such as registration cards; employees record books, birth, marriage and death certificates. The documentation was acquired by the ITS from various sources, including municipalities, occupation authorities and registry offices. The documentation in this sub-group is comprised of wartime documents as well as post war documents, most of which are official certificates concerning wartime deaths.
