This unit contains correspondence, photographs, lists and testimonies compiled in the run-up to the 1st and 2nd Flossenbürg Trials before the US Military Tribunal in Dachau in 1946/47.
Letters written by SS man Berthold Riegenhagen, who worked in CC Auschwitz and CC Flossenbürg, during his imprisonment in Nuremberg and Dachau in 1946 should be emphasized.
Contains:
I) Letter from the Führer of the 8th Company of the SS-T-Sturmbann in CC Auschwitz to the SS-T-Sturmbann concerning the psychological examination of the SS-Rottenführer Berthold Riegenhagen, 05/30/1942.
II) Letter from the Examining Magistrate at Weiden Regional Court to the International Tracing Service, concerning documents sent which pertain to CC Flossenbürg, 07/08/1956.
II) (Recognition) photographs, mainly of former SS personnel and Kapos in CC Flossenbürg. Some of the names on the back of the photographs contain small spelling mistakes.

- Handwritten copy of a letter from Hermann Riegenhagen and his wife Elsi(?) Riegenhagen to the US War Crime Trial management in Dachau, concerning the innocence of his brother Berthold Riegenhagen, Chicago, 10/31/1946.
